Hi there! I'm Renata, and I'm delighted to share a little bit about myself. I live in the beautiful country of Ireland, where I created this website to help spread the word about Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). You can find more details about this wonderful method in the EFT section, but for now, let me share my journey with you.
Originally, I'm from Poland, and I’ve been calling Ireland home since 2017. A year after my move, I faced some challenges when I became ill and was diagnosed with a few chronic conditions, including fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, and functional neurological disorder (FND). Thankfully, I've had my beloved cat with me through it all!
Navigating life with chronic illness inspired me to find ways to make each day a little better. After a few months of searching, I was fortunate enough to connect with an amazing psychotherapist, and neuro-physiotherapy made a big difference too. However, the technique that really transformed my life was Emotional Freedom Technique, sometimes referred to as psychological acupuncture. It's something I can easily practice at home, and I'm excited to share its benefits with you!
I first learned about EFT back in 2019 during a visit to a clinic dedicated to helping those with chronic fatigue syndrome. While I received plenty of helpful guidance, I initially brushed off EFT as something that didn't make much sense to me. It seemed a bit out there at the time.
A few weeks later, my curiosity got the better of me. I decided to download one of the most popular tapping apps—just in case. Then, on a particularly tough day when I felt completely drained, almost like a zombie, I really needed to tackle my messy kitchen. I was so low on energy that just sitting felt like too much. In a moment of desperation, I opened the app and followed one of the exercises. To my surprise, I managed to clean the entire kitchen without feeling totally wiped out!
That experience sparked a thought, “Could this actually work?” From there, I began tapping more regularly, starting with the areas I felt needed the most attention. Eventually, I felt drawn to explore other themes, like gratitude and embracing the idea of being “enough.” Over time, EFT became a beneficial tool for managing the symptoms of my chronic illness.
This curiosity also inspired me to study the intricate connections between the body and mind, as well as the art of tapping. This website—and the business I run now—are the amazing results of that journey.
